I have been gone a lot haven't I? I apologize especially to those who have been patiently waiting for artwork. Thank you for your patience! I'm sorry but you'll have to wait a little bit longer. I have some news that I know a lot of people won't care about but it's the reason for why I haven't been posting here. Rest assured I am still drawing and I do not intend to leave this site but this news that I'm about to share is going to greatly affect how often I'll be on here and how often I'll be willing to accept requests and stuff. (which I'm not at the moment and won't again for a long time.) I meant to write this journal back when I first found out but I just didn't for some reason anyway here it is. I'm pregnant. No I'm not making it up. I'm about 17 weeks along now and I should find out the gender at my next appointment. Nobody wants to hear about the crazy emotions I've been feeling like one moment I'm excited the next I'm scared to death but that's how it's been. I've babysat and taken care of other peoples children but my own? Not to mention it happened way faster than I was expecting. I won't dwell on it too much and don't worry I won't be posting any pictures or talking much more about it. I just thought you should know why I haven't been here. Anyway that's all. Don't expect any new artwork for a while. I'm just so messed up...Byes for now~

When I first joined this site in 2004 I was an elated 14 year old girl excited to share her art with the world. Now I'm almost 33 and it makes me sad and angry to see what DA has become. I first seriously thought about leaving when they forced eclipse on us, but with this new AI thing, I've made an official decision. I will no longer be posting art here. I can't find it in my heart to delete this account as I have a lot of memories here. I may come back, if things change, but that doesn't seem likely. If you wish to keep seeing new art from me, I don't post frequently, but you can see new art from me on Twitter from time to time. I also occasionally post on Pillowfort. I have a Tumblr, Pixiv, and an Instagram as well, but I'm not super active on those. Life Update
So this eclipse thing is going to be permanent...~sigh~Well I've been here since I was 14 and I have no intention of leaving this site until they close it down. I haven't been posting art I know. I have no excuse I just haven't had the drive or desire to draw. With all that's going on I've had to homeschool my preschool aged developmentally delayed toddler. Drawing just hasn't been a priority right now. Also with Animal Crossing New Horizons and FF7 Remake out, well, I've been playing a lot of games to drown out my troubles. Anyway, I thought I'd share an update since it's been a while. Christmas and my son's birthday
It's been a while since I posted a journal and it's almost the end of the year! I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday whichever one you celebrated. My son recently turned 4 that was exciting. He's getting so big it's making me a little sad. Even though sickness has been going around in my family, we still had a wonderful Christmas and I am very grateful for everything I received. I have some goals for the year! (We'll see if I actually meet any.) I want to try to post a new piece of art every week, lose somewhere in the avenue of 40ish pounds, stay true to my diet, exercise often, and really REALLY fight the system so I can get my son the help
Some news
I know it’s been a while but I wanted to share that I am unable to do any artwork for anyone right now and I’m canceling current projects. I want to deeply apologize to anyone this affects. I want to improve my skill more before I take on anything else in the future. I’ll still post art here and on my new Twitter account but that’s it. My family is saving up for a trip and my son needs my attention so finding time to draw is a little difficult. Not impossible just difficult. I’ll let you know when I open things up again. Again I’m sorry if I disappointed anyone. I’ll try to post new art more frequentl

Oh... My gosh. First you got married and now this. 
I know this is long over-do, but congratz. Really, I mean it. And don't worry. I think you're going to be a wonderful mother to your child. I'll admit that I do miss chatting with you, but settling into your new home and taking care of your son/daughter must come first, so it's all right. 
Everyone will understand.
